ICOS, an ESFRI landmark (https://www.icos-ri.eu/), and ELTER, an emerging ESFRI infrastructure http://www.lter-europe.net/elter/about), are the two infrastructures with closest links with AnaEE. These links are being formalized.

Through phenotyping facilities, EMPHASIS, an ESFRI project (https://emphasis.plant-phenotyping.eu/), aims to boost the design of high yielding and resilient varieties adapted to contrasting environmental conditions including those associated with climate change and new agricultural management systems

EMPHASIS and AnaEE are addressing complementary aspects for food security and climate change resulting in numerous potential synergies, in particular in the development of scientific concepts, innovative sensors, integrated models as well as linking and sharing of sites (see Roy et al. 2017).
