The European Commission and Chair of the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) conjointly invited Abad Chabbi to represent AnaEE and account for the project’s evolution since integrating the 2018 ESFRI Roadmap, focusing on its contribution to scientific excellence. The ESFRI is indeed updating its 2018 Roadmap through the monitoring of the research infrastructures it endorsed between 2008 and 2010, as described in the 2016 ESFRI Strategy Document and Roadmap. This monitoring exercise is a welcome opportunity for AnaEE to identify potential bottlenecks and corresponding mitigation actions, in an effort to activate its research infrastructure in due time (i.e. before a new 2020 Roadmap comes into effect).
